From the Chiang Rai Bus Station, take the exit onto Rattanakhet Road, which is the main street in town with a plethora of restaurants, Internet cafes, shops and bars. Turn right onto this street so you are walking in a northerly direction. Turn left at the first or second set of traffic lights onto either Banphaprakan Road or Thanalai Road and continue along these streets for approximately four blocks.
If you turned left at the first set of traffic lights and are heading along Banphaprakan Roadd, follow this street in a straight line until it curves to the right. At the curve there is a set of traffic lights and a petrol station on the left. Turn right at the lights onto Thanalai Rd and the Ban Khun Yom Hotel is located on your left.
If you turned left at the second set of traffic lights onto Thanalai Road, follow this road until you see the fourth set of traffic lights. The Ban Khun Yom Hotel is located on the right just before the fourth set of lights.
