In order to reduce their energy consumption and the resulting carbon footprint, The Diamond Park Inn Resort uses solar power for their water heating requirements. In addition to this, all rooms use electronic key cards, a further example of the hotel making an effort to minimise the wastage of electricity, even though this is still a relatively new concept in Chiang Rai.
