Exit from the bus station onto the main street (Rattanakhet Road) which has a 7-Eleven Store, Boots Chemist and a host of shops, restaurants and tour operators. Turn right onto Rattanakhet Road when you exit the bus station, so that you are facing north. Take this road past four sets of traffic lights. Just before the last set of traffic lights you will see the Chiang Rai Police Station on your left. After this set of lights the road changes from a main street to a smaller, quieter street. Follow this street as it curves to the right and the Lotus Guest House is at the end of the street after approximately 100 metres.
