
The White House
The White House is located on Phaholyotin Road near the large intersection with a statue of the King. This is the main thoroughfare for north/south bound traffic, the way to the airport and the transport route for buses heading to the Golden Triangle and other key northern areas including Maesai and Chiang Khong.
This convenient location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants isalso pretty close to the town centre and Night Market.

From the Bus Station it is approximately a 20 minute walk to the White House. After leaving the bus station heading in a northeast direction until you reach Phaholyothin Road. Turn right and follow the road past a set of traffic lights. Pass the Srigird Temple and head straight until you reach the next set of traffic lights. At this intersection Phaholyothin Road merges with Route 1/A2, a large, divided road running North-South. Head north along this road passing another large intersection with traffic lights, passing a monument of the King and you will find the White House on your left, slightly away from the road.
When coming from Chiang Rai Airport you will be driving down the main North/South Route 1/A2. Take a U-turn at the Statue of King Mengrai which you will see on the right hand side as you head into town. The White House is located approximately 100 metres after you take the U-turn.
